Amanda is an active and highly respected member of MRWN, recognised as Macedon Ranges Shire Council’s Citizen of the Year in the 2021 Australia Day Awards. With a strong big-picture focus, she volunteers her time to a number of environmental organisations across the region. Amanda is currently leading MRWN’s transition to registered charity status, helping to position the network for long-term sustainability. While she adores wildlife, Amanda brings important balance to the committee by considering the broader environment—plants, landscapes, and ecosystems as a whole. She has deep knowledge of both local and federal environmental regulations and is a passionate advocate for integrated conservation efforts. Her favourite native plant is the Silver Wattle.
