MRWN Wins QANTAS Regional Grant

We are thrilled to announce that the Macedon Ranges Wildlife Network has been chosen as one of just 47 recipients in 2025 to receive funding from the Qantas Regional Grants Program — selected from a record-breaking 2,900+ applications across Australia.

It’s a fitting connection — the Flying Kangaroo supporting our vital work in macropod (kangaroo & wallaby) rescue and care. This grant will help us train more volunteers, provide essential rescue equipment, and strengthen our ability to respond to the growing challenge of wildlife roadstrike in the Macedon Ranges — the region with the highest rate of wildlife roadstrike in Victoria.

Our deepest thanks to Qantas for their generosity and for recognising the importance of supporting volunteer wildlife rescuers. Together, we can make a real difference for our precious native animals.

We need your support

Every contribution counts in the fight for wildlife conservation. At the Macedon Ranges Wildlife Network, we believe that through your support, we can create a sustainable future for our native species. Together, we can rescue, rehabilitate, and protect the wildlife that enriches our ecosystem. Your donations directly fund vital programs aimed at saving these beautiful creatures in their time of need.
